1 · Grant of License

Upon successful purchase, BySFX grants you ("the Licensee") a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased sound effects, logos, idents, and music tracks ("the Sounds"). You pay once and own that license forever — use the Sounds in unlimited projects across your own channels and social media accounts, subject to the terms below.

BySFX and its contributing authors retain all copyright and intellectual property in the Sounds. Your purchase grants a license to use them as set out here — it does not transfer ownership of the Sounds themselves.

2 · What you CAN do

  • Use Sounds in unlimited commercial and personal projects, forever
  • Use across all of your own channels and social accounts — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, podcasts, films, commercials, video games, apps, courses, presentations
  • Use Sounds in client work — the license stays with you
  • Modify, edit, mix, and process Sounds (pitch, EQ, time-stretch, layering)
  • Use in projects with worldwide distribution and broadcast

3 · What you CANNOT do

  • Resell, redistribute, share, or upload the raw Sound files to anyone
  • Use the Sounds on channels or accounts that are not your own, or transfer the license to a third party
  • Use Sounds in another stock library, sound pack, or sample marketplace
  • Use Sounds in AI / machine-learning training datasets without a separate license
  • Claim authorship of the Sounds themselves
  • Register the Sounds (or works derived primarily from them) for Content ID, copyright tracking, PRO collection, or as a trademark on any platform
  • Use the Sounds in unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or pornographic content, or to disparage any person, group, or organization
YouTube Content ID A limited subset of music tracks (around 80) is registered for Content ID monitoring. A claim is never a strike and never blocks your video. As a paid customer you get free channel whitelisting on request: email support@bysfx.com with your order number and YouTube channel URL, and we release the claim (usually within 24–48 hours). Sound effects and logos are clean and never trigger claims.

4 · Free Sample License

The free sample SFX is licensed under the same terms above, with one additional condition: attribution required. Include "Sounds by BySFX" in your video description or project credits. Upgrade to any paid purchase to remove this requirement.

5 · Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach any term. Upon termination, you must stop using the Sounds and delete all copies. Works lawfully published before termination are unaffected.
